The Day They Took My Father

The Day They Took My Father is the story of Nataly Avendano, a high-school aged DACA recipient. She is fighting to keep her undocumented father from being deported to Mexico after he is detained for a traffic violation. Narrated in first person by Nataly, the film shows her courageously take on ICE and galvanize her community.
